Car Crash Kills 7 In Prachuap Khiri Khan

Recommended Posts

25.000 killed annually on thai roads and no wonder as there is NO training anyone to drive

get a licence (the test is a joke and takes 5 minits ) and some dont bother   you are free to go out on the roads to add to the carnage

How can a truck turning all of a sudden swerve to miss one car and slide into the path of another one, something points that the truck just lost control due to driving error or drunk behind the wheel? RIP to those poor family members

As Thailand seems unable to tackle the issue, should they not get some consultants or experts from abroad to assess the flaws within the context ?

How many more deaths, before any (honest) action is taken, other then  with Police Road Blocks having the sole goal to harass or extort money from foreigners.

Two days ago friend of mine travelling from Surin to Pattaya with his motorbike on back of ute correctly tied on, was pulled up at checkpoint duly showed officer drivers licence and papers for bike and car everything okay, then officer ask for 400thb for coffee friend ask why, officer say not have cover on bike friend trying to contain himself get out wallet only have 2x100 baht notes and 1x500baht note officer say 500 okay friend give him 200 and drive away true story. And you wonder why there's so much carnage on the roads

Looks that it is vital to wear a discreet body cam (available all over the internet)  when riding the bike to have footage and then send it to the anti-corruption bureau in Bangkok.

Yup, isn't that weird? 13 people trapped in a cave and it's worldnews in every newspaper. 7 people die in a caraccident and nobody cares, even not in Thailand.

A very valid point. 200 people have been killed on the roads during the last 9 days, and almost no one is aware. Don't expect road deaths to come back into the news for at least the next two months, by which time another 3000 will have died.
