roodujardin
For those that don't know this temple; it's called Wat Phu Praw in Ubon. It has a unique feature that I was unaware of at the time. It's obviously very popular as hundreds of people turned up at twilight. It's feature that draws thousands is a luminous property in the ground swirls, tree on the end of the building, and outlining on the muk (sorry, don't know the English equivalent). Children were running round with torches light painting the ground swirls; this tipped me off. I also could see with so many people around, a photograph would be near impossible. I got around this with a slower shutter speed than necessary to blur out the masses. Little post processing required as it lights up with brilliance that is not too difficult to deal with. Well worth the trip at evening if you're in the area.
