Don't ask why for I know not but someone has chosen to put a Valkyrie lump in a tractor ..

Makes a change from having a tractor engine in a motorcycle🧐

The seat/tail looks like the monster that erupts from the guys chest in Alien !!!

Especially from the back

Ditch what ever that thing is on top of the headlight, fix the tail, mid controls, ditch the garbage can sized muffler ...

Bet it goes like hell

alloy tank

Dig those twin fillers ..

The instruments panel I could like but it looks like its mounted in the thing above the headlight .. which I couldn't ..

The wheels are superb and the advantage's of less unsprung weight and less noticeable gyroscopic effect on the front end are quite noticeable but cautionary word of caution in that they are not easily repaired if they get chipped , raked or worse still fractured .. and if not repairable are hugely expensive to replace .. but they do look the biz' ..

Black Douglas .. A modern take on Vintage biking .. Handmade frame ( Italy I believe ) and a proprietary 230cc lump from Taiwan .. the tanks are hand folded and welded by all accounts .. But they ain't cheap coming in over £ 10k depending on spec' .. And for that I'd want a bit more than a rubber hose held by jubilee clips to a cheap looking filter ..

Very few details on the bigger Vee twin at the bottom ..

The people who can afford this bike I donot believe they are overly worried about replacement cost

No!

Just no!

That is all so wrong.

Yeah i get the workmanship and the fabrication skills, but not THAT MOTOR ! ! !. C'mon... Puleeeeze!

Bottom pic is a Harley Evo Sportster lump, a bit better, more suited, but still.

A more realistic oldie worldie lump would have been an Enfield lump.

Fair comment and point taken ..

The problem any small scale manufacturer faces in these days of ever tightening emissions is sourcing engines that'll meet them .. Without big investment small scale building you're own is a no no so they are faced with having to buy in .. Black Doug' might've tried to call the shots on the styling of it abit more but could it be who ever makes it is churning out tens of 000's and are not particular to altering it to suit B D 's style ..

Thanks for the heads up on origins of the engine in the bottom bike ..
