According to the Triumph Thailand website, THB890,000 is the asking price for one with no further accessories fitted.  They don't say how many Thailand is being allocated though - the US is getting 200, and Canada 20 being all I can find, so I don't imagine Thailand will get too many.  I might make a trip to one of the Bangkok dealers and see if there's still one unaccounted for.

I think if you plonk down a big enough deposit they would find you one. But if you simply want to kick the tyres? no.

That same König 500cc flatfour twostroke was also used in 500 GP racing in the seventies. One of them even beat the MV four on top speed on one of the tracks. I do remember the screaming sound they produced.......

Indeed it did .. Can't remember the name of the bloke who used to race it though .. I think who ever put the engine in the Be-eM turned it thru 90° possibly to continue using the original gearbox as the GP racer has the cylinders running in line ..

If they use up the Thailand allocation, then they'd have to try and get a spare one from elsewhere.  I've had six Hinkley Triumphs in Thailand over the last 20 years, and currently still have two, so they know if I am interested it wouldn't just be to kick the tyres.

Apparently this is the largest mass produced piston engine. Although I suspect the writer of that article may not have been aware of these?

Or even this one.

I am not surprised it was abandoned, with all that weight how would it take off, and where would all the fule go for 216 cyinders .

Clever. Like fitting a Mercury/Evinrude two stroke in a motorcycle.

I would pay money for one of those.

There is a whole article about the concept. https://www.odd-bike.com/2013/04/konig-500-gp-outboard-powered-underdog.html

Ahh them was the days when men were men and almost always had a tab' on the go when a camera was about ..

Baz' dragging the life out of one and Baz' partying with badboy Public Schoolboy and F1 champ James Hunt who not only liked a tab an' drink was also quite partial to the odd Air Hostess or 30 .. not to mention a bit of fisticuffs for which he gained a bit of a reputation ..  Complete geeza then .. Alas both are no longer around now ..

Moving even further into the ridiculous, the Cosmic Motors' "Detonator".  Originally a concept for a fantasy movie, 9 were produced.  The front wheel arrives at your destination 5 minutes before you do.

Perhaps yellow is more to your taste?
