Popular Post VocalNeal
I like the Yamaha. Best of both worlds? Another bike with a concealed or inhub disc brake and one can buy a modern copy of the original 1962 Lambretta TV175 was the first production two wheeled vehicle to gain a disc brake, this was made in a joint venture between Innocenti and an Italian company called Campagnolo. Mechanically actuated so while disc in name not so much disc by nature. Edited April 12, 2019 by VocalNeal

I'd have thought it would go for more than that, considering this one was owned by George Brough for 30 years.
Popular Post Justgrazing
All the Japanese fiddled with turbocharging their bikes early 80's though without doubt the best of 'em was the Kawa GPZ750 turbo .. Not a looker by today's standards but a genuinely fast bike back in the day doing a standing 1/4 mile in a shade over 10 secs and top-end close to 150 mph .. Turbo'd up version had DFi similar to GPZ 1100 and a bit more bodywork while the standard n/a bike in the bottom pic had to make do with carbs ..
