I know AJS had a racing V4 during the 30's that raced at the I O M but that was water cooled where as this is aircooled and there don't seem to be no mention of AJS producing and selling V4 road going machines during 30's .. These motors are all about torque. Ridiculous torque. Like more torque than you can shake a stick at. Stage II is more than 160 Ib ft. Fantastic.
