Late 90 day reporting.

Recommended Posts

I've overrun my 90 day reporting by 1 month. What are the consequences, and how best to resolve it?

Go out for a holiday for a couple days and come back in with a re-set clock for the next 90-days.

Best go to local office, serve a wai to the official , pay and wait for things to happen.

A stamp for overstaying will be entered into your pp.

If you repeat same the record shows.

The laws and rules are always changing.

He has not overstayed so nothing will be entered into his passport.

A late report stamp showing the fine paid may be stamped in his passport.

Don't people use a Google calendar or some other kind of reminder as to when their 90 day report is due, or do they rely on their infallible memory?

What infallible memory? it is clearly written on the paper in the passport, so maybe it is more a problem with one's optician

Unless you carry your passport, or take it out and check it frequently, I can understand forgetting the date to report, that's why I put it on Google calendar for several days prior to the report. No excuse to miss a report.

Late 90 day reporting is not a overstay. It is just late reporting.

Luckily you're here at least most of the time

I was mainly kidding, I put many things on my telephone calendar but not my 90 days report for as you said no excuse to miss a report, so I always know exactly the date.

In this country, I try to avoid any kind of problems but especially with the authorities
