Importing household goods via sea cargo

Has anyone recently imported any goods from USA (or anywhere but I would be doing it from USA) via sea cargo? I did a small container years ago but don't have current info. I know import duties can be a real stinker and whatever handouts you have to give, too. I would just be shipping 2 or 3 cubic meters this go 'round. I'd be grateful for any advise/tips, etc... Also, the import shipping company I used last time, Angelfreight, no longer seems to be around. Any one with recent experience on that front?
