Don't worry an election coming up hopefully next year,

Teachers are important to have on your side when trying

to win an election, so expect some relief to come from

the Government,in the near future.a telephone call to

the head of the GHB,GSB, by the PM will fix things.

regards worgeordie

Is this not just about living beyond your means ?? Seems like it . Borrowing money and being unable to repay the interest . We've all been there's in the west ,or most have and know well the problems it brings .

No, not just about living beyond their means. Cannot be denied that it is in part, in some cases more than others but....... Also about living up to the image that the community and the powers that be expect / demand of teachers. These have increased over the years, as has the cost of living, but pay (and conditions) have not improved to match.
