Video: Terror on Route 134 - rush hour bus passengers dive for cover in knife and gun attack

Passengers on a bus service heading towards Bangkok dived for cover as a man armed with a knife and a gun attacked a fellow passenger.

 

The injured man was on a back seat when the attacker got on the bus.

 

CCTV showed a scuffle with both combatants falling over other passengers.

 

Sanook reported that one man was injured by a knife but the gun failed to fire.

 

The injured man is seen checking himself and later went to hospital.

 

The attack happened in the full 134 bus from Bang Bua Thong to Mor Chit (New) bus station on Friday at 7pm.

 

Sanook did not report on police action in the case.

Tattoos can be also be religious / superstition / ward off bad omens related. Sometimes initiated by father or mother.

Good that they have cctv and it's working.

Could be a student rivalry as all are wearing white shirts. Just a guess.

The back tattoo didn’t look like a hand made tattoo. Looked more like one by machine. Similar to some gang styles in Japan. Who knows why he got attacked. Almost looked like the victim recognized an attack was coming. If the victim didn’t say why he was attacked, I would be willing to bet it’s gang related. Gangs don’t snitch to the police. It’s one of the worst unwritten codes to break.

If you want to go to The Mall or Panthip Plaza you take the 134

( or 171 or 528 or micro bus )
