rooster59 Posted July 21, 2018 Share Posted July 21, 2018 Three provinces still affected by flood from “Son-tinh” Floodings as a result of tropical storm “Son-tinh” which has weakened to a low pressure cell still wreak havoc in three provinces — Kanchanaburi, Phichit and Nakhon Sawan, Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department director-general Chayapol Thitisak said today. Mr Chayapol said during July 17-21 the storm caused flash floods and landslides in 11 provinces — Phichit, Nakhon Sawan, Trat, Phrae, Phetchabun, Phitsanulok, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Tak, Ranong, Kanchanaburi and Phetchaburi — affecting 1,909 households with 5,774 people in 67 villages. The situation has eased in eight provinces, except Kanchanaburi, Phichit and Nakhon Sawan.
