Avengers: Infinity War's co-director Joe Russo reveals Easter egg you might have missed

There wasn't much for fans to complain about with the superb and epic Avengers: Infinity War, although we can probably all agree that the Black Order join the canon of underwhelming MCU villains.

 

Thanos's heralds do look pretty imposing in the movie, and get off to a roaring story beating down a definitely-not-scared Hulk and killing Loki (or maybe not?), but they ultimately get dispatched by The Avengers on the way to Thanos and his finger snap emerging as the key threat.

 

Co-directors Anthony and Joe Russo make it clear in the film's Blu-ray commentary that they're aware the Black Order don't live up to their Marvel Comics reputation as world-destroying ass-kickers — and that was very much by design.
