webfact Posted August 8, 2018 Share Posted August 8, 2018 French man found dead in Sukhumvit Soi 11 hotel Picture: Google Street view A French man was found dead in a room at a Sukhumvit hotel on Tuesday morning. The body of David Mouries, 48, was discovered at the Smart Suites Boutique Hotel located on Sukhumvit Soi 11 after a maid knocked on the door to get permission to clean the room. When there was no response, she opened the door with a spare key and found the body. Investigations are ongoing but the man's death is not thought to be suspicious. The body has been sent for autopsy to establish an official cause of death. Too bad that foreign national deaths dont have enough importance to have home country officials (police) ensuring that local police have applied due dilligence in these investigations.
