4evermaat
I was considering selling a phone and some other items outside of my local area and the buyer requested cash on delivery (COD, delivery address is within thailand). I've never done this in Thailand as a private person, although I've bought from Lazada several times with COD method. I wanted to know some other TVF members experience selling something that was shipped to a Thai address and COD/payment on delivery was used. - Which carrier did you use? - how much did it cost? did it include insurance? - How long did you have to wait to get paid? - was it deposited to your bank acct or do you go to the office to collect? Anything else to look out for?
Pib
You can mail through the Thai Postal System COD. Basically, the post office will not hand over the item to the recipient until they pay. As for mailing costs I can not say but I'm sure it will be low. http://www.thailandpost.co.th/un/article_detail/product/568/
