You must speak from your own experience ?

Yes, i do. Had a 2017 Macbook Pro. After 1 or 2 months the problems started, keys sometimes felt "stange" but could usually be solved by "massaging" the keys. After about 5 months one key was defective, when pressing it it sometimes caused 2 key strokes. Apple had to replace the upper part of the Macbook (including Battery and Touchpad, so imagine what this costs if it happens out of warranty), the shop said they have to keep the Laptop for 5 days to repair it. I couldn't wait 5 days without a Laptop. Bought a Lenovo Laptop (which does come with on-site warranty), got the Macbook fixed and then got rid of it, now using the Lenovo.

That Apple is doing this with a Laptop for 100k THB is just a joke. Especially not fixing this problem and releasing a new model with the same faulty keyboard.

I agree.

At least wait and see what Apple comes up with on Sept 12.

Why would anyone buy a Laptop that comes with a flawed keyboard?

OP asked if the 2018 macbook pro is available in bangkok,,

The 2018 macbook pro does not have a flawed key board,,  it's generation 3,,     it's been fixed.  won't be any different in sept,,,

The rest of the range will get the same gen' 3 keyboard [probably]

Apple did say themself that the 3rd generation keyboard does still have the same problem https://www.cnet.com/news/apple-says-new-macbook-pro-keyboard-wont-fix-sticky-key-issue/

Here a report of somebody having the problem with a 2018 model https://wccftech.com/a-13-macbook-pro-2018-develops-faulty-keyboard-apple-orders-replacement-from-china/

You find people reporting problems the same problems with the 2018 keyboards, i provided one link above, but you can easily find more reports.

The Macbook Pro keyboard is just broken by design and i will recommend everybody to not buy one until Apple really fixes this problem (which probably requires to make the keyboard a bit thicker again)

If that is really happening to some users then Apple will replace your machine.

What is wrong with that? At least they do something to help.

They only do this if you are within the warranty, which is just 1 year by default (and make you wait 5 business days (in my case) without a Laptop). If it happens out of warranty you probably pay something like 30k THB to have it fixed (so be sure to get the Apple Care plan for another 10k THB to at least have 3 years warranty)

Wrong is that Apple knows their keyboard has serious issues but is still selling it, and even releasing "new" models which is still using this style of keyboard which still has the same issue.
