Just another very good example of how completely out of control this government is. They have no idea what they are doing. Such utter incompetence. Five years in jail for filming a fake hump. Wow. What can one say? A computer crimes act? If that is a computer crime act, what is the making of a pornographic film? Are they going after the policemen, and officials who own porn film companies, or brothels, go-go bars, or full service massage shops? How about the officials involved in trafficking? Drugs?

This is just a great example of how misguided current policy is. Nothing is being accomplished by these hysterical, completely misguided, phony, insincere, dimwitted numskulls.

The goons in charge are focusing their efforts in all the wrong areas. They are trying to make Thailand a Quaker State. A land of purity. Total BS. Nonsense. Misplaced priorities, and wasted efforts. They should be focusing their efforts on traffic and public safety, easing import tariffs, making visa policy simpler, and more friendly, boosting Western tourism, real crackdowns on slavery, and illegal fishing instead of nonsensical hyperbole, cleaning up the water, the air, the rivers, and the beaches, and other things that actually improve lives.

Little P. Not making Thailand great again. And moving the nation backwards at an astonishing and alarming pace, though deeply ignorant policy, a complete and stunning lack of vision, and utter incompetence.

Well i am happy you got that off your chest then?  ? Just kidding and pretty true post.

This nation is immorally corrupt from the top down yet they continue to prove to the world that, given the support of the gun , they can shine and become the hub of one thing that no other nation can attain   -sheer hypocrisy

Actually do not have much sympathy for this guy, I do not think he had any right to film what was going on in a pretty tame ‘pool party ‘ of complete strangers - then post it on Facebook.

It has caused problems for the Aussie guy who organises events, the hotel, the paying guests etc.

So if he does get prosecuted - good .

Im Confused. The word "simulated" means there was no sex act and therefore he hadnt commited a crime in filming it. Should i read more than a couple sentences or something...

i once almost got busted for having an illegal firearm. I told the police i owned a bb gun if thats what they mean haha and gave them one and therefore i had done nothing wrong. That would be a simulated gun right? How can you get 5yrs for videoing and posting simulated acts. Im sure if what i read is true then a lwyer wont let this guy see jail. its a joke.

Agreed, they weren't naked & they weren't having sex in public so where's the crime?

well... so much for watching Dirty Dancing tonite

No doubt you've broken the Computer Crimes act simply by posting this amoral, lascivious, and plain old dirty, dirty, dirty 'Dirty Dancing' clip.  <gasp!!!>.  What do you expect in a country where the sensibilities of the governing class are soooo sensitive that TV producers must pixilate out the lips of a man and a woman kissing as that act is too amoral to broadcast on the air.  Now, if the man is beating the woman with a stick or a belt- well that's Ok, but Buddha forbid (and the government too) - No Kissing!  No Touching!  And <gasp> No Simulated Sex.  And 5 years in jail if you capture any of those <gasp> amoral acts on camera!!!
TIT <head-shake>

In Thailand, a crime is whatever the authorities say it is. Sometimes they can make money out of it that way. Why do you think Thailand doesn't have a jury service? Can't have the people telling the authorities they're a bunch of idiots, can we.

Post of the month here, as long as the members of the "brown envelope" brigade keep getting their pockets filled, nothing is going to change.

Let's stop students from having a voice at any cost.  Stop them meeting each other.  Stop them being seen with the opposite sex.  Stop them drinking (even if old enough to do so).  Stop them having sex ANYWHERE.

I predict that one day the students will have had enough, rebel, and change this country for the better.  It's happened in other countries.
