webfact Posted August 24, 2018 Share Posted August 24, 2018 Govt official found dead in car on Cha-am Beach By The Nation Picture: Thai Rath A community development official from Samut Sakhon province was found dead on Thursday on Cha-am Beach in Phetchaburi province. The body of Thanawat Worapian, 30, was found lying on the reclining driver’s seat at 5pm. Local residents called police after they saw him lying unconscious in the car that had been parked there for three days. A stove was found to have been lit and placed on the floor in front of the front passenger’s seat. Two empty beer cans and a whisky bottle were found near the body. He was identified by his government official ID card as an operations officer for community development. The body was sent for post mortem to Cha-am Hospital.
