Rc2702
Just now, ezzra said: Yep, go for it,, i have done lots of exch with these guys, but if you want to get the best exch. rate and you're not in a hurry, bide your time waiting for better bang for your buck... How long before the £ goes to 44 baht again? Even 43.85 I'd take. But the question is how long before that could happen?

Please not ? You expect the Euro to fall even more against the Baht? (OP wants to buy Euro, selling rate 38.15 at the moment) I am waiting for the opposite. Head on head. 38.15. These rates are at the edge, not much margin to stick out. Banks much worse, like Bangkok Bank at 38.64!

Banks much worse, like Bangkok Bank at 38.64!I got surprise today. I have exchanging USD regularly in Bangkok for the last few years as I getting some incomes in cash from abroad. When I started to do that, i found that the best rate was in Superich (head office), at least definitely better than any banks. I was even recommended by my bank to go Superrich instead letting them change it for me ( I am talking about 10k usd each time).Well today, as I was in Bangkok, i went straight to Superich and change 10k usd at 32.26. Then I just cross the road, went to Bangkok Bank branch central world to deposit the cash THB into my account and saw on the exchange board that the rate was 32.36 for 1 dollar. I asked them what was the exchange rate and they confirmed 32.36 (I thought they didn't update the board). So I lost 10,000 THB!Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

I don't have an easy explanation. Main problem is that I can't find one single update rate for today. Bangkok Bank from Friday, others from yesterday (incl. Superrich). Superrich being 32.45, 32.55, 32.60 depending on size of note (10/20, 50, 100). No idea why today only 32.26. For comparison, transferwise would earn you 325079 Baht for 10k USD (thats transfer from US account).

Yes 1,000b difference not 10,000b.Just surprised to see the bank having a better rate than Superich. That's unusual. Thanks for the feedbackSent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
