Manassas
Recently had occasion to take someone to the "old bus station." Nice to see the construction almost done and the arrival/departure bays are operational. But when it's done how shall we refer to the (old) bus station? I vote for "New Old Bus Station" paraphrasing a joke from the 1940 W.C. Fields movie The Bank Dick. But I'm open to other ideas. Seriously, the old bus station has always been a major landmark useful for urban navigation in Chiang Rai. What shall it be called now? Or am I the only one with time on his hands to think these deep thoughts? ?
wcoast
The Thai convention seems to keep the name, so likely bus terminal #1.Sent from my abacus using Tapatalk
IraqRon
It is bus station #1, bus station #2 is on the highway south of the city, oops I said highway hope the English can overlook this on an idiot American's slip of tongue. Should have said carriage way!
