Paratroopers Steal Motorbike.

On the 10th of February at 5.30am Pattaya Police were informed by Mr. Vilert Tiangyoo, aged 30, owner of a small Mobile Phone shop in Central Pattaya, that his motorbike had been stolen from outside his shop.

Police were later informed that three suspicious Thai men on a motorbike were pushing another motorbike along Sukhumvit Road, North Pattaya.

Police attended the scene and all of the men made a run for it. However, Police were quick to apprehend two of them. They where identified as Private Wittaya Supparit, aged 23 and Private Jaran Thongprasert, aged 23.

They also revealed the identity of their friend to be Private Grajang Janloy, aged 25, who is still at large.

They are all serving their compulsory duty in the Army as Airborne Paratroopers.

The two arrested were taken to the Police Station where they confessed to the use of drugs and specifically yaba. They explained they were on holiday in Pattaya and had spotted an unlocked motorbike and were tempted and decided to steal the bike.

After medical testing was found to be positive for drug taking use they were charged for both theft and the consumption of illegal drugs.

An arrest warrant has been made for Private Grajang and his Army Division has been notified.
