snoop1130 Posted October 2, 2018 Share Posted October 2, 2018 Ten injured in a Krabi minivan accident By Kritsada Mueanhawong Eight tourists and two Thai have been injured in a minivan accident in Plai Phraya, Krabi, this afternoon. Plai Phraya Police in Krabi were notified that a passenger minivan had veered off the road and flipped over on the Southern Sea Road at about 2pm. When emergency responders arrived they found a minivan off the side off the road in a deep ditch. Eight tourists and two Thai had all sustained injuries – some just scratches, some more serious. Two of female tourists had sustained head injuries. Those two were taken to the Plai Phraya Hospital while the rest of tourists were transferred to another minivan. Once again, the lives of innocents is placed at risk by a careless idiot. It's not that incidents such as this occur that is so alarming, after all, someone will be along soon to point out that accidents happen in every country.... Its that incidents such as this occur in Thailand with such frequency it really is becoming more and more obvious that those in positions of decision making power either have absolutely no control over safety and policing of Thailands roads or they just don't care.... I agree with your sentiments but drivers can fall asleep just as easy in a 20 seater bus as they can in a minivan. Particularly so if they are on the same medication.
