If it turns out these foreigners have been using drugs they bought on the island then what?

Then then the next thing shall be crack down on drugs which isn’t a problem for me but don’t be surprised if people that used to complain about a 10,000 baht fine for smoking week end up getting 10 year jail sentences

and the death penalty being used more rampantly again.

i believe it’s the foreigner fake media telling lies and if it’s proven to be true then Thailand shall have no choice but to hit back hard

this shall mean putting greater and heavy laws onto what they believe seems to be the problem of foreigners dying and stopping the spread of fake news, fake Insuurence claims basically whilst these foreign Journists hide overseas to escape slander and defimation charges whilst some of you lot support there works without checking the authentity out yourselves then it could be us that feel the heavy laws, more road blocks more house raids whilst these journalist are making money from Thailand overseas and laughing and making up  more stories

Thank you. Dark Tao needs to be avoided like the Bubonic plague. And Sairee Beach again? Is there any doubt that Nomsod the serial killer was involved? Please. The police know exactly who did it, as usual, and he is completely above the law. Any and all laws.

At least the biggest joke is not involved. That is a relief.
Dont forget all army, government, international laws and uk police

There's a serial killer or killers running loose on that island and they are powerful and connected. I simply cannot see it being any other way.

Yeah, I can't see how drunk/high tourists could drown by accident. Impossible.

i know what you're referring to. But just because there's some shady stuff going on doesn't mean every death on Koh Tao is shady.

That's true. But I think it's something a lot bigger than folks are willing to consider. It's a gut feeling.

I'm sorry but i haven't read the rest of the thread but i'm guessing that as  he was training in Muay Thai that it could well be some training supplements or stronger that was found and perhaps Viagra.

That's even if any where found in the first place.

Cause of death: the Burmese two escaped from prison and forced him to dive head down from a DJ booth in a pool filled with boxjelly fishes. When they realised what happened they went back to jail covering their tracks and erasing the CCTV and drop him in the sea because box-jelly does not live in pools. Simple no?

An open mind on this one but in all the time I spent on Koh Phangan's beaches I don't recall anyone going for a solitary late night swim in the sea.

Skinny dipping in the pool perhaps hehe.....

Let's see where this one goes....someone will know something but this island is still full of kids, drugs and excessive living as befits a bunch of young peeps having fun.

Is there a nutter or group of them operating there....?

In his room there police found a large quantity of foreign pharmaceutical drugs.

The victim has been reported as suffering from "wheezing".

And then out for a swim .  I think the autopsy will reveal drugs .

Given the places reputation i am surprised any one goes there at all.

They go there for drugs and parties. Easy available on the island.

Plenty of posts because it is Kho Tao. Not one post on the body of a foreigner found floating off Phuket today.

Exactly , it happens in the popular tourist destinations , almost monthly . So all this focus on KT a bit silly . Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi , plenty of rapes and murders and accidents everywhere,

Could be. Could also be that police there is super incompetent and always try to sweep everything under the rug to protect tourism so it looks like they are protecting killers but actually they are just clumsy and trying to protect image of island.

So let's take an example where they find someone and can't explain what happened.

Instead of saying "we don't know what happened" they will quickly dismiss it as an accident, because they are lazy, incompetent and they don't want stuff to drag out.

Ofcourse if they are protecting a killer they would do the same.

What the SuraThani Provincial police commander  -- not the local Koh Tao police -- said was:

“His death was caused by drowning,” (Maj.Gen.) Apichart said. “We believe it was most likely an accident. At this moment, we have not found any link to criminal actions.”

Ha! Death Island living up to it's name. Every death on Koh Tao is gonna be considered suspicious after the muck-up they made of the Hannah and David case. Probably as safe as houses unless you upset the wrong people. But then that's true throughout Thailand. I would imagine the Jus Primas Noctis principle holds sway in Kao Tao, with influential locals.

Whadaya mean suspicious? If you read the stuff by the Arachnid Kid, you already know who did it.
