Officials begin clean up as tonnes of trash is washed onto Hua Hin beach

 

 

Workers will continue to clean the beaches around Hua Hin today after several tonnes of trash and debris washed ashore over the weekend.

 

Officials said the trash is the result of monsoon winds that has blown have blown it onto the beach.

 

Workers cleared around six tonnes of trash from a 10 kilometre stretch of beach on Sunday and Monday.

 

Officials said that up to 100 tonnes of trash is expected to wash ashore throughout October.

Perhaps result of trash being dumped into the sea at an earlier time? No, that could have nothing to do with it....

No, this trash is the neglect of those horrible expats and farangs (but with good money)  and washes into the shores from abroad. And of course the authorities have taken samples of the sea water and declared the water quality safe to swim obviously !!

I thought it said officials begin clean up?. No way. More slaves...... If it were there would be tshirts up, towels around the neck or belly, umbrellas and a whole lot of complaining... Officials dont do any work they just skim the money off events and projects.

Nice that the article doesn't seem to ask the question -- how did all that garbage get into the ocean in the first place, and where did it come from?

 

Maybe the article didn't need to ask, because the answer is pretty obvious.
