Shocking footage shows minivan drivers from rival firms fighting with one another in front of shocked members of the public.

A clip taken at Rayong bus terminal was uploaded to Facebook on Tuesday shows at least six men involved in the fight.

One man who is wearing a blue shirt worn by minivan drivers can be seen being kicked in the face and thrown to the ground. Another man wearing a green t-shirt appears to be armed.

According to a report by Sanook News, the fight took place after one minivan firm was accused the other of taking their customers.

Transport officials and police are set to take action against both firms later on Wednesday.

Tuk Tuk driver in Chiang threatening grad driver with tourists in the car.

Taxi drivers in Bangkok doing as they please.

Mini van drivers fighting at bus terminals in rayong.

Not really the image Thailand wants the rest of the world to see, especially with the downturn in the tourism and things could get worse if the GFC  hits.

years ago these things wouldn’t be seen by the millions of people around the world, but now with Facebook,YouTube and various other forms of media, It can be posted and seen instantly, this can only do harm.

Its a shame,Thailand has so much to offer, but this we do not need.

Agree with that one, in the Ramkhanhaeng / lat Prao area it's gone back to the situation of 5 or more years ago, most taxis lock their doors and wind down the passengers window and demand to know your destination (illegal) then rudely yell back a grossly inflated fare. Even 1 or 2 kilometer journey they often demand 200Baht.

A week back a driver refused to let a policemans' wife (uni professor) get out until she added 100Baht to the fare. She pressed the emergency button on the door pillar but nothing happened. The lady secretly videos the whole thing and gave it to her policeman husband.

The police tracked down the cab and discovered the emergency button has never been wired. Driver and car owner both fined 5,000Baht and drivers license cancelled for 1 year. Notices with photos and car reg. no put on many notice boards at the uni.

Ah, the practitioners of the Middle way and forward these six go towards ........... Enlightenment. Perhaps a hefty fine and few nights in a cell would allow them time to reflect.

Yep, suggest 7 days minimum lock up.

Place is just so hilarious and primitive, ya gotta laugh.

Wonder what that makes places like Chicago look like then....where they like to shoot each other on a daily basis....not just brawl with each other?

You've never seen a street brawl anywhere else in the world? The infamous WorldStarHipHop website, which is US based, was orientated completely around street fights and brawls in the US.
A simple search online will supply street fights the world over

Yes you are correct years ago there was no social media. You should have seen how bad they behaved years ago, makes them look like angels today.

Fighting!! Lol look like a bunch of kids in the playground. Thrown better men out of the way to get into one.

A diet of rice leads to higher levels of oestrogen, lethargic and days lives, and sitting on your arse as a driver all day, doesn't exactly prepare one for 12 rounds with Tyson ????

I remember when I was a kid living in England being shocked when two apparently friendly ice-cream vendors started fist-fighting in front of a crowd of disbelieving observers.

It can happen anywhere.

but more likely to happen here

And they were the days when we only cared for a 99.  We did not know what a 69 was then ????

You think so, I watch some of the reality programs on UK TV where there is live footage of people usually drunk, not only fighting amongst themselves but with the police, both men and women.
