Probably would have shot him as he was getting out. Doesn't matter how big your gun is if you are shot first you die. Another needless death that this case shows clearly.

Act passively and there is a good chance you will live. A smile and a wai would be a far better defense in this situation. All the gunman wanted was to get the upper hand which he and his passenger quickly obtained which gave him time to calm down. Now the police can take over with no risk to the threatened man.

What do you mean?

The car with the camera was in fact driving unnecessarily slow.

And rapidly accelerated to catch the car that had overtaten him. Obviously wanted a go, and then complained when he got it. Guess he didn't fancy the chances of his sword against a gun.

ROTFL if you think the police are going to take over and do anything.  The only reason they will *pretend* to act is if the public complains.  I expect them to "launch an investigation" and eventually blame a Cambodian.

Watch as Khun Roadrage gets the government-in-power "Puuyai Pass" and this is buried.  Any other average, non-Puuyai Thai would be in jail or out on bail on weapons charges as we speak.  Not this guy - the allegation need to be 'investigated'. When they do bury it, this will rank right up there on the corruption index with General Rolex.

NACC secretary-general Worawit Sookboon confirmed that the gun-wielding man was Piset but insisted this was a personal matter that had nothing to do with his official position and duties.

At what stage then is a "personal" crime deemed to affect his official position and duties?   It is a crime and any ordinary person would be held accountable for it.    If this guy were to kill someone, would that be deemed to affect his official position and duties?

The NACC secretary-general's statement is absolutely ridiculous but is typical of the way in which the establishment regards offences by the so-called hi-sos.

Has Thailand become the far west of the 19th century ? Is this country getting that backword ?....not because a crazy crap pulled his gun, but due to the fact that he will go unpunished or at most to an "inactive post with full salary"....

They've made a big progress in the last 20 years, or so! From the rice fields, the coconut trees and "Honda "Dream" to Toyota "Fortuner" and AC-plastic-landscape-shopping malls (despite the fact, that they've missed a lot of "steps" in between).

But the pace of retarding within the last couple of years, is really breathtaking!

When I see this, now I understand very clear the other message about:Rayong minivan drivers brawl in front of shocked passengers

They all the same from low to high, where you have to read the "Hiso" are the very lowest in this country.

Unbelievable what a kind of m*rrons.

business as usual then.

dont go to arrest him, ask him to come in when and if he please, on the way buying a songkran watergun to present as the weapon used.

ps. the 2 security guards a poster display why they have zero use beyond road sweeping.

Cannot expect the 2 guards to do much when he got a gun right? Would u do otherwise if u were the guard?

He"ll be another moved to an empty desk! and that'll be the end of it.

I doubt if that will happen. More likly to be swept under the carpet and he will be promoted to secretary-general

Immature children with deadly weapons and I mean the car

Thailand has serious fundamental problems with the upbringing of males and with the ease of acquiring cars (Penis substitutes) look out
