I see the area as needing more malls.

Especially Jomtien could use a massive one.

Your wish is my command. Have a look on Jomtien 2nd road.

Disneyworld Pattaya has a nice ring to it!

Many years ago it was known as Extreme City.

Nothing changes.  The 40-50 b Thai food court downstairs or sometimes upstairs is usually the busiest part of most malls in LOS except when theyre having a knockdown sale of copy designer gear.

I think you are right, the busiest place ends up being when they start having Sat night market out the front of the mall, Central, the avenue , all do it.

If this was built with the Chinese in mind - oh dear!!

Why do you think that? Seems to be more Thais than any other nationality. Lots of jobs for the locals too.

A low-cost foodcourt and a few restaurants that weren't in Pattaya before are the highlights I've spotted so far. All else seems to be standard mall stuff.

So the foodcourt will be full of Russians and Chinese, great, just like Central plaza.

It's dead here now - desperation hangs thick in the October air.

You obviously weren't at the T21 opening yesterday.

You can always use another mall.  Great way to escape the heat.

It's cheaper to run an aircon 24 hour a day than taking a taxi to and from the mall 30 days a month.

I wonder if the new mall with all the new restaurants is going to mean at least a temporary drop in business at pretty much all the other restaurants in town?
