Hiang Kim, 72, was arrested after the custom officials noticed that her body seemed to swell at the middle. After a search, they found numerous bracelets which were attached to her arms and wrapped around her chest. She claimed she was hired by a Cambodian to carry the bracelets into Thailand. She was taken to the Aranyaprathet police station for questioning. Probably for weighing the bracelets too, once the police had 'disarmed' her of them. The more important detail for the police would be how much they were likely to gain from it. Lupatria
The 'antique' woman should have told the guys she inherited the bracelets from her family when she was two years old.????
