Sounds of the Sixties - the 3 V's and The Pink Panther

Just learned that these renowned Thai singers: Vichai, Vinai and Viraj (3 V's) will appear at the Legend Resort on Monday 5 November singing "Songs of the Sixties"

Few farangs have heard of them, but older Thai people love them intensely. This is old-style singing a bit like Perry Como, Bing Crosby, etc., and if you loved the music of the 1960's you might like to attend this. Talented, harmonious, and hugely entertaining. I saw them perform in Chiang Mai. They sang in English and Thai, and it was really quite moving.

For a sample: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rk9Ly5vPCvY and skip to 02.25 if you do not understand Thai.

Cost is 350 Baht - details from the hotel 053 910400

If you can go, enjoy!

This was a great evening when all Three V's (l-r Vichai, Viraj and Vinai) got together, singing 'Sixties' songs in absolute harmony. Just a pity it ended too soon at 10.30 pm. Wine was Baht 700 for a 75 cl bottle - that added even more enjoyment!

River flowing gently in the background, good food, super ambiance. If you didn't manage to go, you missed something special.

Thanks, jko,

wunderful performance of these Gentlemen and the professional

music Ladies. And indeed, 'Talented, harmonious, and hugely entertaining' ...

Good link.

Reminds me of a concert in Munich, last year, other groups, much older then

( v=rk9Ly5vPCvY )  -  On YT.

All of us are becoming older (some wiser) each day.

But I'm afraid the politicians don't and this might be a very big

plobrem in the future. - Everywhere.
