Khao Yai national park authorities and a specialist rescue organisation have stepped up the search for a 22 year old Thai man missing for ten days.

Thanathat was last scene at a camping ground on October 27th.

His mother reported that he had gone to the park to test the magical properties of a special "Year 17" baht coin with a garuda symbol on the back.

No trace has been found of the missing man.

Four search teams are involved in combing the area with the help of a heat seeking drone.

The search is expected to continue this week, reported Sanook.

An excellent use of the tech - its good to see drones being implemented where they can be most useful.

Get this girl on the case...

Hope they find the lad...
