renew/extend work permit process? (especially BOI)

Hi, 

 

My work permit expires on April, 2019. Anyone has experienced renew/extend work permits? When we founded company in Thailand 2 years ago (we are under BOI), one of the law firm took care of foreign employees work permits and visa, and it costed over $2500 per person. So this time, to review it I'd like to do it my own. And I wonder if it's rather an easy process?

 

- How early can I apply to renew/extend WP? (For example, a month before or 7 days?)

- Is it more difficult or rather easier than applying new WP? 

- Any advice? Please let me know!
