Medical personnel were called to the Burapha-Withee expressway (Chonburi bound) in Bang Pakong on Sunday when three people in a car were seen unconscious.

The rescue team shook the car and banged on the roof and manged to rouse a drowsy man who had been driving.

His wife and seven year old daughter had also passed out in the car.

They were taken to hospital in Bang Pakong and toxicology tests are being done at Somdej Phranangjao Sirikit hospital.

The car is also being examined to get to the cause of the trouble.

Daily News reported the family were lucky to escape death.

From a report in Thai.

The driver noticed a smell like exhaust and the air was not cool.

No word that he got the idea to stop AC and ventilation and open windows.

Driver sitting in the closed car drowsy.

That would require using LOGIC which every Thai I've met simply don't have
