DavidHouston
How about "เห็นแก่เงิน" or "หน้าเงิน". Here are some sample sentences: "นักการเมืองไม่ใช่นักบุญ ดังนั้น โปรดอย่าตกใจที่เห็นนักการเมืองสับปลับ ตอแหล เห็นแก่เงิน เห็นแก่ผลประโยชน์ของตนเองและพวกพ้อง" [Politicians are no saints. Therefore, do not be surprised when you see politicians be deceitful, prevaricate, be mercenary, and seek to act only for the benefit of themselves and their cronies.] "พนักงานสาวไส้ความลับของบริษัทให้ฝ่ายตรงข้ามเพราะเห็นแก่เงินก้อนโต" [The employee sold company secrets to its competitor because he was greedy for a large financial reward.] "คุณไม่ได้เห็นแก่เงินหรอก เพียงแต่คุณติดสบาย ซึ่งไม่ใช่เรื่องที่ผิด" [You are not a gold digger; you're just someone who wants an easy life. There's nothing wrong with that.] There is a Thai country song "หญิงหน้าเงิน" or [gold digger]
