Photo: DMCR PHUKET:-- The dolphin rescued from Phuket’s Nai Yang Beach last week has vomited plastic while in care at the Phuket Marine Biological Centre (PMBC) at Cape Panwa, marine biologists have revealed. Marine biologists at the PMBC’s Endangered Species Unit have called for volunteers to help provide round-the-clock care for the dolphin as it is still experiencing breathing difficulties and suffering from fatigue. “The dolphin cannot swim by itself and it will drown if there is no one to hold it,” marine mammal expert Dr Patcharaporn Kaewmong explained to The Phuket News today (Dec 3) Full Story: https://www.thephuketnews.com/dolphin-rescued-from-phuket-beach-vomits-plastic-69543.php#2bLwii3xwxD6mdTP.97 -- © Copyright Phuket News 2018-12-

hotchilli
I viewed some scientist the other day on the DW German news channel.. he's devising a method of underwater bio-dome so humans can live under the oceans when the land becomes over populated... Redline
There is an easy solution, that will cost a bit more-go back to glass and steel-make all single use items biodegradable. Of course, plastic composites would still be used to manufacture durable items. Glass is recyclable and does not leach chemicals.
