bluesofa
1. Browser notifications (the little bell at the top RHS of the screen). When I used to click on it, it loaded a list of recent topics I was following, followed at the bottom with “View all notifications” and “Delete all notifications” I see now that has changed, and the “Delete all notifications” option has disappeared, resulting in a very long list I can’t shorten. It’s so long I have lost track which I’ve looked at already. 2. On my browser I have a message pop-up in a green box at the bottom of the screen, but with no text in it, and no link, or anything (see image below). I have come to realise this is telling me that another comment had been added to the page I’m looking at. I have to press refresh to reload the page and see what is new. 3. I've also noticed in my account>Notification Settings, the options available seem to have changed. Under the heading “Method to use for content I follow automatically”, it used to say something like, "Instant notification by email". Now it says, “A notification when new content is posted” What is "a notification"? Can I no longer opt for instant emails? Is this why I am no longer receiving emails from TV? ubonjoe
A lot of features on the forum have been temporarily disabled to investigate the problem with slow downs of the forum. Once the problem is resolved they will be back.
OJAS
Looks like we're in for an exceedingly long wait, then, while the notifications continue to pile up!
Langsuan Man
Yes, and today we only have one hour of "View New Content" which makes catching up impossible
