I'll check out the ones I haven't seen. "Amores Perros - great movie with Gael Garcia Bernal. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0245712/" Agree - Inarritu's best film by far, his first. (It's true of a lot of directors - their 1st or 2nd film is the one where they get it all together and never match it later). "Timecrimes - really enjoyed this. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0480669/" Agree also. I went on a viewing spree and saw about 5 films total in that genre - all the modern ones I could find - about a year ago. This was superior to all the others- also it's the one with the lowest budget. [There was one other I saw that is memorable - "Predestination" (2014) - that I want to see again. Actually, it may be as good a film, just very different]. After seeing the film - There are lots of posts discussing it on IMDB, including someone who did flow charts, trying to track the intricacies of the story. I think about this film periodically and look forward to eventually seeing it again.
JimmyJ
I'd like to thank the poster who recommended "Fyre Fraud". I had never heard of the Fyre Festival. Two documentaries were made on this fiasco - this one and "Fyre", both 2019 releases. Fascinating trainwreck/con job. Most people who mentioned both on IMDB recommended "Fyre" as a bit better and/or the one to watch first, so I went with that. Then watched "Fyre Fraud". They both have a lot of unique footage and also have common footage. "Fyre" I also thought "Fyre" was better, but enjoyed both. Says a lot about "social media" "influencers", and modern marketing. (I've thought of these films when I see Kamala Harris being marketed as a USA Presidential candidate, trying to manipulate her image and going for what they think social media followers will buy). Just reading "Altamont" about the free concert the Rolling Stones gave. That was spectacularly under prepared as well, and Altamont had the added disaster of the Hells Angels wreaking havoc as "security".

Will27
Documentary - Free Solo This one just won the Oscar for best documentary. Not hard to see why. Thought it was terrific. BritManToo
Traitors is OK if just for the naked scenes (USA recruits spies in the UK). JHolmesJr
Who doesn't love a good war film? T-34 is just that...about a Russian tank commander who hoodwinks his counterpart in the SS. Action is blistering and beautifully shot...I have never seen tank shells flying like this. Its in Russian, the subs on sub scene are adequate. xylophone
Watched "The Favourite" last night and wasn't overly impressed with it, and Queen Anne's supposed lesbian tendencies were given too much free rein by the producer, as without this, the movie wouldn't have worked.
