After watching all the old episodes of Impossible Mission from the 60's, in HD on my big screen,  there are so many of them, I decided to watch all of the six movies, starting today with the original from 1996.

I can't even remember watching it on cinema, but I must have, because I remember the vault scene with Tom Cruise very well, and the action scene with the train and the helicopter.

Directed by Brian De Palma, I have to say I enjoyed this agent plot, completely different from the TV series. And of course Cruise doing all the stunt scenes himself, no CGI to talk about in this movie, just pure action and some funny scenes.

Also worth a watch to see how the Internet was back then, the technology changed fast in a few years.

Code Blue: Murder

Really enjoying this one.

Summary: Documentary offering unprecedented access to the detectives and CSIs in the Specialist Crime Units of South Wales,
following them as they deal with the most serious crimes from the first call-out to the crime scene and, ultimately, to court.

agree. also look out for 24 hours in police custody from channel 4 and ambulance from the bbc - there are some really good documentary shoes on british tv

it would be quite an insight to see similar independently made police/ambulance series made in thailand...

anyone seen this 'dirty john' https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7945720/

Mum (70) mates all recommended it to her so whilst visiting UK a couple of weeks back we sat down and watched it and I quite enjoyed it (much better than the Madeline Magan documentary that was airing at the same time).

Had to leave the UK before we got chance to watch the documentary about the guy in real life, anybody seen it? is it worth watching?

If you enjoyed those shows, you will probably enjoy this one.

Does anyone know where I can find "24 hours in police custody" s0902?

I've looked everywhere.

Check,  but I think they are only up to S08. S901 "Predators" should really read as S801 then S802 "Family Secrets" is next.

Hope this helps

Probably been discussed on here before, but just wanted to say I really enjoyed watching “Crazy Rich Asians”.
Lots of similarities displayed by the jealous Chinese girls in the movie and the jealously of some Thai girls you may know. All doing their best to sabotage your relationship!

Just finished watching season 2 of Fleabag , an excellent ( IMHO ) dark comedy.

I strongly recommend this and if you get chance to d/l season 1 also to help with continuation.

Available in all the usual places.

I thought Season 2 was a bit of a let down, making faces at the camera got a bit tiresome as did the plot with the priest.

I hear ya.  I'm midway through S02.  I still like the show, but not as much as I did in S01.

When you employ a device like making faces at the camera, it's tough to know how often to go to the well.  Too many times for me, too.  Also, I thought her entanglements with the dudes in S01 were far more entertaining than that with the priest.

Watched "Gomorra" S4 Ep 5 and 6.

Sorry to say it, but beginning with S4 Ep 3 this show has - to coin a cliche - jumped the shark.

Worthless. No resemblance to the show of previous seasons - budget is a fraction, scripts are awful - one dimensional, no surprises, people doing things which make no sense and are totally out of character as well as lacking common sense and logic.

Just another TV show now.

I’m watching “Better call Saul” & “The The Kominsky Method”.  However, this holiday, I’m going back and binge watching a couple select seasons of 'Breaking Bad'. Did a half day in the water, now inside for the remainder.

BTW picked up “Nichols”. No you can’t find it on Netflix.  This was a one off James Garner series before Rockford Files.

Look Will, you keep posting info about really good programmes that I know I'll just have to watch them.

Can you just give it a rest, I'm spending all my life watching this stuff.

Just kidding!  I really appreciate your posts, cheers,

you're still watching aren't you?

Im liking it....change of pace....the most irritating thing for me is watching the English subs superimposed on top

of the Italian ones (which it doesn't need since that is the language they're speaking)

Still keeps me engrossed.

Anyone seen the movie Arctic? Any ideas as to why they made the helicopter crash survivor a Thai, when the actress is actually Icelandic? Seemed to have to real bearing on the story.

It seems she's born in Iceland with a Thai mother and her father is Icelandic, but making her a Thai in the movie was totally irrelevant to the story, unless it was to make communication difficult?

Watched it last night and thought it was good.

Also watched another one which I hadn't heard of before called, "Only the dead" and this really is a war story unlike any other you've ever seen because it is an action documentary which follows a war correspondent into the war in Iraq and he's very often at the front of things.

An absolute must if anyone likes these sort of things and available on 1337x.to

Just finished this HBO Europe show as recommended by Will27. Excellent Polish crime drama.

TV show - Jeeves and Wooster (1990)

Found this really old UK comedy on PB. Set around late 1920's follows the adventures of spoiled rich guy and his smart ass valet. Very funny.
