He's getting to be a really special player now and some of his moves last night were marvelous. Agree with the penalty taker. Don't know why we struggled so much with penalties but now Mahrez seems settled on taking them. As for the game, it was pretty much as we expected I think but if anything I think we took our foot off the gas as if to conserve some energy. Cancelo plays best at left back and when we have the ball he overlaps into defensive midfield. However, he cuts inside a lot and has a great shot on him with both feet. "They" ie Kavanagh, is hardly gonna admit he was in the wrong. As it clearly hit the arm and not the shoulder, Tierney should have at least been advised to check the monitor for himself. Apparently he wasn't asked/told to do so. I know you'll disagree (only person I've seen/read so far that does) but that smacks of more than just ineptness. It was a deliberate act.
