With the current squad available they may decide to give him another window or alternatively cut their losses and put the window in the hands of another. Interesting times. More down to players not wanting to be there, players who are there injured or not fit, players who came in injured or not settled and a keeper who is proned to errors. Most of all lack of confidence. I also read read that he lost some of the dressing room after Champions league final when he played half fit Harry over Moura who effectively got them there. They've spent <deleted> tons of money in the past 7 years and gone through 2 top managers, 1 average manager and 1 Scando fisherman and just keep going further backwards. They should use OGS's time to restructure behind the scenes and then go at it again.

Only ones worth keeping in that starting 11 is James Mctommeny Mcquire Tuenzebe De gea, That's how bad it is. Under investment is hurting us big time now. I love a relegation battle bring it on we have a international break now and then it's bring on the red Scouse. But Nev, those players aren't as bad as they are playing now. Rashford has shown a lot of class over 3 years before this bad patch. What I saw yesterday was a team who not only looked short of ideas, but were playing with a massive lack of confidence. I am not sure some of them actually wanted the ball. What happened to Ole's early mantra of "we can't be afraid of making mistakes". I have the feeling Ole is out of his depth. There is only so far "remember you're playing for Man United lads" can take us. I understand we do need to strengthen the squad a lot, but IMO this group of players is playing way below their own potential. The responsibility for that falls at the managers feet. Nev, don't fall into the trap of thinking Ole is blameless because he is a club legend. In managerial terms he's a complete rookie. deej
BangrakBob Thanks for your funny reply. My post was not in any shape or form defending M/U policy.s engaging mngrs or buying players. But merely pointing out after SAF departure was always going to be a massive exercise to replace him For instance if Klop left Lpool tomorrow Sure that Lpool .could possibly lay in the same bed as M/U And if Poch leaves Spurs same could apply Top draw mngrs do not grow on trees Edited October 7, 2019 by deej spelling error

Hence my point re. succession planning. And to be fair no one was ever going to replace Ferguson, but they they couldn't have gone about it any worse. I've often considered "after Klopp" but I'd expect a transition that would still see us compete, and not waste millions, maintaining his winning ethos, philosophy and strategy behind the scenes. That said Chelsea is a great example of how all of what I'm saying is total <deleted>-s, manager after manager but you are always in the mix, it doesn't have a detrimental effect.
