Alfredo's comment is a sound one actually.

My lass for instance is a gooner.

Actually Alfies comment was all thai girlfriends/wifes follow their farlang other halfs team (though he said it in a condescending way). Your missus being a gooner actually proves his comment isn't a sound or correct one.

I stated this before on here, Rashford Andreas Lingard not good enough, You can add Fred to that list too.

Only ones worth keeping in that starting 11 is James Mctommeny Mcquire Tuenzebe De gea, That's how bad it is.

Under investment is hurting us big time now.

I love a relegation battle bring it on we have a international break now and then it's bring on the red Scouse.

But Nev, those players aren't as bad as they are playing now. Rashford has shown a lot of class over 3 years before this bad patch.

What I saw yesterday was a team who not only looked short of ideas, but were playing with a massive lack of confidence. I am not sure some of them actually wanted the ball. What happened to Ole's early mantra of "we can't be afraid of making mistakes".

I have the feeling Ole is out of his depth. There is only so far "remember you're playing for Man United lads" can take us. I understand we do need to strengthen the squad a lot,  but IMO this group of players is playing way below their own potential. The responsibility for that falls at the managers feet.

Nev, don't fall into the trap of thinking Ole is blameless because he is a club legend. In managerial terms he's a complete rookie.

Largest club in the universe

best marketed club on the planet, universe remains to be seen

Great supporters base with

stacks of money. pack o' <deleted> with stacks of money

Any decent manager would sign up immediately why?

M/U  achilles heel presently is .that to this point of time they have not engaged a manager to fill Sir Alex Fergusons  massive shoes I think it's more down to a lack of a succession plan, and that is as much down to him than anyone. How can you be so successful for so long and not have a strategy to keep the principle going at least.

sucessfully .

and signings .well leave it at that.

Marouane Fellaini, £27.5m

Juan Mata, £37.1m

Luke Shaw, £31m

Marcos Rojo, £16m

Angel di Maria, £59.7m

Daley Blind, £13.8m

Radamel Falcao, £6m loan fee

Memphis Depay, £26.3m

Matteo Darmian, £12.7m

Morgan Schneiderlin, £25m

Bastian Schweinsteiger, £6.8m

Sergio Romero, free

Anthony Martial, £44m rising to £58m

Eric Bailly, £30m

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, free

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, £26.3m

Paul Pogba, £89m

Victor Lindelof, £30.9m rising to £39m

Romelu Lukaku, £75m rising to £90m

Nemanja Matic, £35m rising to £40m

Alexis Sanchez, swap

Diogo Dalot, £19m

Fred, £52m

Why would you comment about something you can't possibly know about? Ever met my wife and others who follow their boyfriend / husband's team - no you haven't.

You're sounding increasingly like a bitter old man.

Perhaps,as i use to get about a bit anyway where have i mentioned your wife ? 🙄🤣 and yes i have met plenty of others who follow their husbands / boyfriends teams, but while you mention your wife, did she support City before you met her ?  she obviously has an opinion on Gundogen strange as it is similar to your opinion but obviously she hasn't heard you voice opinion 😜

I’m not sure it’s down to any pending move from him.

More down to players not wanting to be there, players who are there injured or not fit, players who came in injured or not settled and a keeper who is proned to errors. Most of all lack of confidence.

I also read read that he lost some of the dressing room after Champions league final when he played half fit Harry over Moura who effectively got them there.

All gossip of course.....

From the man who believes everything he reads 😂

Couple o' mancs more interested in gossiping about their birds on a footy forum for 2 days rather than football....throw in the blue<deleted>e being in the relegation zone, this weekend has been memorable

It's true that.

IMO he should have started with Moura and brought on Kane when they were either comfortable or struggling.

Bad decision.

Thanks for your funny reply.

My post was not in any shape or form defending

M/U  policy.s engaging mngrs or buying players.

But

merely pointing out after SAF departure

was always going to be a massive exercise to replace him

For instance if Klop left Lpool tomorrow

Sure that Lpool .could possibly lay in the same bed

as M/U   And if Poch leaves Spurs same could apply

Top draw mngrs do not grow on trees

On talksport a while back, they did a survey, and the result was that Glasgow Celtic were the best supported club in the world.

Top 6

01 Celtic

02 Liverpool

03 Barcelona

04 Real Madrid

05 Man Utd

06 Bayern

Can't recall the others but I think Ajax and one of the italian giants were up there.

Sure I get your point. Hence my point re. succession planning. And to be fair no one was ever going to replace Ferguson, but they they couldn't have gone about it any worse.

I've often considered "after Klopp" but I'd expect a transition that would still see us compete, and not waste millions, maintaining his winning ethos, philosophy and strategy behind the scenes.

That said Chelsea is a great example of how all of what I'm saying is total <deleted>-s, manager after manager but you are always in the mix, it doesn't have a detrimental effect.
