At least with Mourinho you knew what style he played and so all Ole had to do was "dismantle" the parked bus. As so many pundits have said nobody knows what strategy or style Ole is playing. So yeah, I agree, there is nothing to dismantle

Its common knowledge Conti has his style of playing I can live with that at least they go down fighting

How have Manchester United become a club full of people ‘learning on the job’?

Manchester United were humiliated by Liverpool in what was their 'worst result in Premier League history' at the weekend, leaving Ole Gunnar Solskjaer staring down the barrel. So how have United allowed the club to be run by inexperienced figures across the board? How is there such a void between them and Liverpool? And is the idea that Solskjaer has restored some of the old club traditions a 'myth'? This is a section taken from the latest episode of The Athletic Football Podcast...

This is straight from a Ex United player, Im not mentioning any names, He tells me he has to play 3 at the back to get out of this mess, not sure if AWB can play that role, Telles can play as a wing back 3-5-2 is the way to play at the moment.

Now no Pogba for the next 3 games, Nice one Paul,

Maguire is having a mere but Ole will stick with him, Shaw is not upto it at the moment,

Back 3 of Maguire Lindaflopp and Bailly

That's fine... Conte plays 3 at the back!

Im looking forward to Ole's next press conference I wonder if United brief them reporters not to ask questions about the Liverpool game?

Ole is very good at handling awkward questions in press conferences. That's never been his problem.

It's a pity he doesn't know how to handle players and tactics, which would result in a win and be key in stopping the "awkward questions" in press conferences!

He has shown signs of a "meltdown" in a couple of recent after match interviews, and that is not a good sign.

Let's face it United need an overhaul, from the boardroom through to the players, with the harsh realisation that there are players in that team who just are not fit for purpose, not to mention the debacle that is DVB, or indeed the disturbing influence of Pogba, who should have gone a while ago, but who will have lost some of his value due to his recent poor performances.

The January transfer window is looming, and hopefully United can offload a whole bunch of players, that is provided that they have got rid of the manager as well, because it's no use having good players if the person who directs the play doesn't have a clue.

I'm afraid it's going to take time and United won't be in amongst the "medals" this year.

I agree... let's not forget that some of the blame must go to the players. Pogba is almost getting the sympathy vote after being left out! What has he done to merit inclusion in the team?!

That's whats going on inside Ole's head.

'We are United, its in our DNA.'
Meaning Kick the ball, run, kick the ball again, we are getting close now........kick and run, pass to Rash and he will score, maybe Ronaldo , not sure really. Maybe ask Carrick.

Apparently Fergie and Martin Edwards visited the training ground today. What possible reason for Edwards to be there?!

Apparently they were getting fittings for new club suits (probably with Ronaldo CR7 stitched into the lining????). They didn't meet with OGS or players.

Is Ole viewed as a clever guy by other Norwegians or do they also think he's a bit too nice and not good enough for the job?

Norway have come up with some good managers in the last 5 years, Knutsen is one of them, his team just beat Mourinho's Roma 6-1  a few days ago, a shock result in Europe. He will end up in a bigger club for sure.

Our new national coach Solbakken are also highly rated. They both have good tactical skills to change games and it works for them.
They are the new modern managers in football, trying to copy the best managers like Klopp and Pep.

Btw Solbakken is best mate with Brentford boss Thomas Frank, they know each other from Denmark and share the same philosophy.

Solskjaer? Not sure really.  A legend as a player and will be remembered for that 100 years from now.
