???? You joke, but at this rate, they all could break next.

BTW. We have had just as many if not more injuries than you have. So although you may be Liverpool centric and in your tunnel vision only Liverpool's world crashes in, the same thing is happening in other clubs

I won't stand for any whimpering. I remember us winning the league with severe defensive crisis when Michael Carrick had to play there for a few games.

So as of now who starts in your back 4?

You fellas could use Javier Mascherano right about now, but he retired yesterday. What a guy!

Oh yeah... When you bought Tevez and Mascherano without actually owning them... They used you as a shop window, but then I guess that was the only way you could dream of signing them

Oh Ricky you are trying so hard today to be all macho and argumentative, bless.  It really doesnt suit you.

Stick to being the wet drippy bore you normally are. It’s a far better fit.

And despite being found guilty, their punishment undoubtedly proved that there was still embedded  corruption in football.. barring Hillsborough, never  since the days of crossen and Dooley have I  seen  the footballing authorities abilty to rule fairly so plainly proven corrupt.

What is there to argue about? A fine chapter in your history ... You helped to get those two to the Premier League.

Think of yourself as the overworked sherpa on an Everest expedition. You were never going to summit, just basically used to haul gear around, but nobody can say you didn't play your part.

And in all seriousness, didn't Tevez virtually keep you up single handedly that season?

No the football authorities kept them up. And relegated Sheffield it's instead.

Just a normal swab test AFAIK

That's inconvenient for The Reds, but he will be OK. That test is so way off the mark in most cases. But, even if he feels low, a dose of hydroxychloroquine, some vit' D and a zinc capsule will see him right.

He is one of the three genuine world class players in English football. Want to see him back in full trim.

That's good news.

Let's see that other World Class act on the pitch this year. Do you think it's possible that Pickford was unhappy to find out he had to look after mum, after Rooney was quarantined? Is that all in the past? Or maybe not! Perhaps he had things on his mind when he clattered Virgil.

Slick performance by a team shorn of six starters. All played well and arguably should have won by a few more. Nine saves from Schmeichel, couple against the woodwork and goal line clearances allied to Bobby's two left feet keeping the score down to three!

Hard to pick an MoM. Jota probably hastened poor old Fuch's retirement. Milner was targeted but acquitted himself brilliantly and still  found the time to be one of our most creative players whilst the midfield workrate meant that Vardy was starved of service throughout. Jota's goal was preceded by 30 passes Bobby's 1-2 with Mendy, and involved every outfield player. Pic below:

Salah tested negative for Covid on his return to UK. Makes you wonder whether one or more of his Egyptian tests were 'false' positives? Anyway, didn't cause a problem in the end.????

Another negative test...Mo is available for Atalanta if selected.????

LFC 0-2 Atalanta.....Least said about that the better! A lethargic tired display against a team well up for revenge. The no shots on target stat says it all. JK cannot escape blame either. Starting Origi instead of Minamino was a bad decision. The little guy must wonder what he has to do to get a decent runout!

No-one stood out. Only Alisson was up to par. We should still be ok but the Ajax game next week has now added importance and we can't afford to rest players which would have been useful. We never do it the easy way in Europe!

Thiago out until the New Year, <deleted> that <deleted> Richarlison.

Can't believe we are still up top considering what team we should have starting.

Agree mate. He should have received a much longer ban for that challenge....as should his mate with the short arms!  Was hoping Cavani had injured the dirty git when he topped him in the Uruguay v Brazil game but no luck!

We are indeed doing well given the injuries, VAR interpretations and dodgy kick off times. I can fully understand why it's all doing JK's head in. Hope it doesn't affect his decision when 'Die Mannschaft' come calling!
