orientalist
I reckon hell will freeze over before Thailand makes cannabis legal for recreational use. What most of these news articles fail to make clear is the authorities are rushing to make Cannabidiol (CBD) legal for use on prescription or for export because it is now the in-trend nerve pain treatment and there are big bucks to be made. CBD normally contains less than 0.05% of THC (the chemical that makes you high) or none at all. Canada is moving to dominate the world trade in CBD and Thailand doesn't want to be left behind. A 30ml bottle of (the cheapest) Canadian CBD oil currently costs 3,300 baht in Japan! Sent from my cell phone using Thaivisa mobile app
