Phang Nga enforces strict entertainment venue policies

Phang-Nga province is enforcing strict measures against youths under 18 years of age entering entertainment venues.

Phang-Nga governor Winai Buapradit (วินัย บัวประดิษฐ์ ), revealed that the province would be enforcing social order policy, especially anti narcotic, sexual abstinence, and entertainment venue age restrictions. Administrative officials, police, and relevant agencies have been instructed to conduct regular sweeps of entertainment venues, computer gaming shops, and local dormitories in order ensure that youths do not engage in morally deviant behavior.

Entertainment venues have also been asked to close on time, and to prevent children below legal age from entering their premises. Mr. Winai reported that regular narcotic tests would also be conducted regularly in all districts of Phang-Nga province

The Phang-Nga governor added that parents have also been asked to cooperate in ensuring that their children do not engage in immoral practices. Mr. Winai affirmed that officials would be strict but fair in their social order work.
