VIDEO: Chilling moment Thai cop murders Frenchman at Trendy Building in Bangkok

Chilling footage captures the moment an off duty Thai police officer shot a Frenchman dead in Bangkok on Wednesday morning.

The video shows Pol Senior Sgt Maj Kantapong Huadsri, wearing an orange shirt, pull a gun on a 35 year old Frenchman, shooting him twice outside the Dunkin Donut shop on the ground floor of the Trendy Building in Bangkok.

Immigration Bureau chief Pol Lt Gen Surachate Hakpal told reports the two men had earlier been involved in a fist fight at the Lucky Shot bar on Sukhumvit Soi 11/1.

The men, who were known to each other, started began arguing when the Frenchman's Thai girlfriend began speaking to Huadsri.

According to Pol Lt Gen Hakpal, the argument then escalated to a fist fight, which the Frenchman won.

As he and his girlfriend were returning to their condo located on the eighth floor of the Trendy Building, Huadsri reappeared with a gun, shooting the Frenchman in the chest and head.

Huadsri, who has now been charged with murder, initially fled the scene but later handed himself into police.

Huadsri, an officer at the Lumpini Police Station, has now been dismissed from the force, police confirmed.

Meanwhile, Pol Lt Gen Surachate Hakpal has instructed investigators at the Lumpini station to handle the case in strict accordance with the law and not try to assist their colleague, the Nation reported on Wednesday.

Simply speechless. What's going on in Thailand.

Why do the police routinely carry arms anyway?

Why aren't they taken back at the end of the shift?

Round my way even the Tourist Police carry guns.

'YOUR FIRST FRIEND' INDEED!

My prediction is ,now this man is toxic with out a friend in the world ,he eats his own bullet before xmas..and IMHO this had more to do with losing the fight ,than losing the wife.....

If you want to live a long time in Thailand, you have to understand the culture. Picking fights, or even not avoiding fights, with off duty policemen in nightclubs, is not the smartest move.

Do they have off duty tattooed on their forehead?

People should never forget that in Thailand face is everything, and you put yourself in grave danger when you do forget that. He took the girl, then beat the man in a fair fight, the Thai is just not going to take that lying down, because logic and reason go out the window. when he thinks he looks stupid. Sure the cop will go to prison, but it is only a matter of time, before pretty much the same happens again. After all, on a local basis, they are doing it continuously. Getting involved with any woman here, who has had a bad ending to, or is still in a relationship, with anyone, is unlikely to end well. I feel very sorry for the French man. I suspect he wont be the last we hear of in similar news to come.

Better to make a through background check of past relations if possible,  when a woman in Thailand accepts to spread her legs open...but as always said, much safer to rent and change regularly,  rather then buy and get involved with the sulphurous past ...

RIP

They had to write that? Was there some remote possibility he could have continued with his job?

There are so many idiotic shootings in Thailand where the angry gunmen shoot first and think later.

Dismissed..... yes.... into an inactive post. He was preparing some quick brown envelops BEFORE he surrendered himself....

Maybe that was for the benefit of TV posters , the general opinion was that he would just get a slap on the wrists and continue as normal after paying a 500 Baht fine and a Wai

What drama Queens. Thousands die every day from homicide due to vengeance and jealously

Move along folks nothing more to see here

What an utterly appalling post. What you're saying is, just another life snuffed out in a hideous attack, but stuff it, it's nothing, ignore it, I've got better things to think about.
