SammyT
How come he doesn't get paraded in front of the media like every foreigner who commits a crime? (No need to answer the question, I already know the answer)
Odysseus123
Maybe the Chinese taught this pathetic mob a lesson. That you neither drown or murder a person because of your infantile concepts of face.

I can only guess it must be for protection from the many inmates, he probably put in there. The many years ahead are not going to be fun for him for sure. robblok
Why would anyone get bail when they are obviously guilty and heading towards a long stay in jail. This was caught on CCTV, he confessed so the outcome will be jail-time. I can understand bail in cases where guilt is not sure or in cases where the jail time is not long and one might have to wait long before a trial. OneMoreFarang
Let's wait a few weeks when the media does not report about it anymore. Maybe he has a bad heart or he is allergic to prison food or something like that. But obviously we won't know because as usual nobody will follow up after a few weeks. After all, TiT! Artisi
What no bail for a murderer, what's the country coming to - next thing we will hear about is that mushroom pickers will not be arrested and jailed from now on.

Bail always seemed to be automatic in the past even for folks charged with murder. Let's hope NO BAIL will now be automatic where the person is charged with murder and several other scenarios. dcnx
Every now and then one of them does something so incredibly stupid (and caught on CCTV) that they have to be thrown under the bus to maintain foreign relations. It’s rare, but it does happen.
observer90210
Definately no bail....no waï's, no public appologies on social media....the cop murderer needs to be stripped of his weapon(s), golden wings with a one way ticket to jail.
