LivinginKata
5,000 baht does not sound much. But loss of income for 1 month is much more expensive.

You are assuming he actually pays the 5000 baht, and does not drive a vehicle for the next month.

fruitman
Well done! Now do the same with BKK busdrivers who stop on the middle of the road to let passengers in/out.
ubon farang
The company was threatened about losing their operating License that was until the official doing the threatening felt his back pocket and felt the envelope in there. Then his harsh words changed Like " Don't do it again please"

Some one will pay the 5,000 baht. And I would assume he just keeps on driving. Maybe not for his old company for the month. But some other bus company. glennb6
and a mcy uturn no no in front of rompho market is a big deal, shhsh. imo if thais were truly concerned about this (sort of occurrence) they would inundate the bus company (owners) with complaints and boycott the company. scorecard
"He was not allowed to drive the vehicle by himself, said the father, who said he was monitoring his boy at all times." In other words the driver has no understanding of professional, appropriate and safe driving and especially with 30? passengers on board, their safety in his hands. He shouldn't be driving any vehicle ever.
marko kok prong
It is all okay, while Dad is suspended, the boy has been deemed by the company now to have enough experience,so he will be filling in for Dad.
Bangkok Barry
Can we assume that the company has fired the driver in light of his irresponsible and dangerous behaviour? Just joking.
