webfact
Oops! "More than 100" energy drinks bottles all over a bend in Ayutthaya! Thai Rath reported that a well known energy drinks firm's truck deposited all its cargo of empty bottles on the bend of a slip road in Ayutthaya yesterday. Though they didn't name the firm they said that there were "more than 100" bottles. "Gern roi" is an advertising slogan for the M150 high caffeine, energy drink firm. The slip road in Wang Noi district was closed for two hours while the authorities cleared up the mess from what was in reality 160,000 bottles. Driver Khathawut Ketthanee, 33, from Khon Kaen said he was transporting a load from Rama 2 to the factory in Ayutthaya when ropes securing 40 wooden pallets came loose. He contacted the insurance company saying that damage was in the region of 320,000 baht. He is also helping the cops with their inquiries. It was not reported if the fine was "more than 100" baht...... Source: Thai Rath -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2018-12-
bluesofa
Normally I'd be there like a shot to see what I could scavenge, but I know I wouldn't have the energy to get the tops off those bottles...
Phuketshrew
It looks like the driver bottled it.

Quickly browsing over the text I was wondering why 160'000 bottles make a damage of only 320'000 Baht And it's factory new bottles, not recycled. ignis
"Rope failure" can happen anywhere, in any Country.. Been watching 'Outback Truckers' on TV every week, the chains/straps/Rope failure appear to be very common in Australia...... OK is the outback + Road Trains and or Oversized...
