Income letters

Recommended Posts

I saw on another site that someone said Chiang Rai Immigration will no longer accept Income Verification letters from Embassies for the retirement extension. Is this correct? Thanks.

Unless and until a new Police order is issued the current is still in effect.

As far as I know that is not true. I have seen no reports of them not being accepted. Probably just another baseless rumor with no facts to support it.

The issue is not one of acceptance but of  issuance. A number of embassy's are no longer issuing.
