Documents needed for condo sale

Recommended Posts

Hello.

I currently own a condo in the foreign quota and have found a buyer for it and I would want to be prepared before we sign the contract and go to the land office.

At the moment I have the following documents:

- Original Chanote

- Old sales contract

- Confirmation by condo management that the unit is debt free

- Confirmation that the transfer will not exceed foreign quota

Now the problem is that the unit was bought by me for only 1.2 Mil THB and I never qualified for a FET form. I remember that I was issued just a confirmation from the bank that the funds came from abroad. The bad news seems to be: I do not have that confirmation anymore. Now I do not need to send the money back home as I am very happy keeping it in a Thai bank. However, is the confirmation imperative for the condo sale when I go to the land office?

If someone has the knowledge, please let me know! Thanks!

The confirmation from the bank was .in effect, a FET.

Clearly it satisfied the land office at the time

The new buyer will ,of course, need to supply a FET with regards to his/her input of money from overseas.

I cannot see that you have a problem.
