Good Lord
Hello. I currently own a condo in the foreign quota and have found a buyer for it and I would want to be prepared before we sign the contract and go to the land office. At the moment I have the following documents: - Original Chanote - Old sales contract - Confirmation by condo management that the unit is debt free - Confirmation that the transfer will not exceed foreign quota Now the problem is that the unit was bought by me for only 1.2 Mil THB and I never qualified for a FET form. I remember that I was issued just a confirmation from the bank that the funds came from abroad. The bad news seems to be: I do not have that confirmation anymore. Now I do not need to send the money back home as I am very happy keeping it in a Thai bank. However, is the confirmation imperative for the condo sale when I go to the land office? If someone has the knowledge, please let me know! Thanks!
Mavideol
my neighbor sold his unit and didn't have to provide the confirmation... maybe each province has different requirements
Delight
The confirmation from the bank was .in effect, a FET. Clearly it satisfied the land office at the time The new buyer will ,of course, need to supply a FET with regards to his/her input of money from overseas. I cannot see that you have a problem.
