They were probably OK when there wasn't so much traffic on the roads but now they are just dangerous, with people taking risks just to get into the flow on the other side, causing a danger to themselves and other drivers. I've now discovered that it's the poor brakes that are to blame. So they need to do is fix the brakes and it's 'problem solved'. RIGHT, GET TO IT! IDIOTS! Honestly, 'pass the buck at all costs' is the order of the day in LOS far too often. They can't drive for sh*t; hardly any have a drivers license, understand the simplest forms of road safety and have next to no regard for themselves or other motorists. It's as simple as that, pretending otherwise is simply obfuscation and face-saving. On the bright side, perhaps a wee bit of social-Darwinism is at work here? The most stupid and reckless of them will die out and therefore, with a little luck, the gene-pool should improve some. Here's to hoping anyway...Harsh, but true. Happy New Year! ???? steve73 Posted January 3, 2019 Share Posted January 3, 2019 I've bought about 5 2ndhand bike (clicks, finos, etc) since I've been here.. Everyone of them the breaks have hardly worked. Seized (both on & off) discs, or badly adjusted cables to the rear, or leaking (empty) hydraulics. Usually only a few 100 bt to repair/replace, but the Thais don't seem to care.
